On this site, we gather every month a sortiment of happenings in the Lappeenranta area for you to get excited about and take part in!

Summer Events

  • June 1st–Aug 31st at 8h–14h Sunday Flea Market (at the Market Square)
  • June 3rd–Aug 28th Lappeenranta Summer Concerts around the city
  • June 3rd–Aug 31st at 12h–16h Lappeenranta’s Orthodox Church (the oldest one in Finland) is open from Tuesday to Sunday for visitors (at the Lappeenranta Fortress) 
  • June 6th – 7th Horses at the Fortress & Lappeenranta City Races
  • June 6th – 7th Lepra Beer Fest 2025 (at the Tuju Taproom, Rakuunamäki)  
  • June 6th  - Aug 9th Saturday dances at the restaurant Lalli (at the Lappeenranta Fortress)

  • June 7th – Aug 31st Lappeenranta Sandcastle is open at 10h–21h (Satamatie 13a)
  • June 7th – Aug 10th Lappeenranta Sightseeing bus tour Hop on – Hop off, starts from the Sandcastle, more information visitlappeenranta.fi/en  
  • June 9th at 18h–22h MILjazz Finnish Defence Forces’ Summer Tour (at the Harbour)
  • June 14th, July 12th and Aug 9th at 7h–14h Seasonal Market (at the Market Square)
  • June 20th at 19h – 22h Midsummer Festival and bonfire (at the Harbour, Myllysaari beach)
  • June 26th–29th The International Grand Markets (at the Harbour)
  • July 1st–31st The museums of Lappeenranta Fortress are free of charge throughout July!
