Christmas concerts and events

Mon 1.12. at 4 PM Iloiset Joulun laulajaiset with Joutsenon Naislaulajat at Ravattilan talo. The choir will also perform. Tickets €10, including Christmas porridge, mulled wine, and gingerbread.

Tue 2.12 at 6:30 PM Erityinen joulu -Christmas concert at the Lappeenranta Music Institute. Students receiving special support at the Lappeenranta Music Institute will present their own Christmas concert together with teachers Annariina Penttilä and Seppo Äikäs. Free admission.

3.12.2025-5.1.2026 Wolkoff Christmas.
Christmas at the Wolkoff Museum is celebrated in the tradition of Johannes Wolkoff’s family. A Christmas tree reaching all the way up to the ceiling is placed in the dining room, and flower baskets received as Christmas greetings, along with the amaryllises grown by Martta Wolkoff, add to the atmosphere. Thu 4.12. at 7 PM 'Ilta isänmaalle' Concert by the Dragoon Band at Lappeenranta’s St. Mary’s Church. Free admission.

Fri 5.12 at 8 PM Suomen parhaat pikkujoulut (christmas party) 18+ at Lappeenranta Ice Hall. Featuring Jenni Vartiainen and Uniklubi. Tickets available.

Sun 7.12. at 6 PM Tule Joulu Kultainen at Joutsen Church, featuring reigning tango king Veeti Tikkanen and the 2023 Golden Accordion winner Ronja Pehkonen. Free admission.
